Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Review
Thanks to AKG’s involvement, Samsung has offered a line of well-tuned IEMs since it acquired AKG/Harman in 2016. The Harman target has been used as the foundation for many of these IEMs, with some modifications made to distinguish between models.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 replaces the first System Buds, adding ANC, better mics, a totally new plan, and quick matching to the blend. The driver arrangement has additionally been refreshed, with the new model wearing double unique drivers rather than only one.
Can the noticeable price increase be justified if all of these changes result in significant improvements to the sound and user experience? We should figure it out.

Our Opinion
WHAT WE LIKE | WHAT WE DON’T LIKE |
Excellent battery case that is pocket-friendly | Slippery, smudge, and scratch-prone shells |
Exceptional microphone performance | Thin midrange |
Very comfortable to wear for more extended periods | Sibilant and sharp treble |
ANC works well to filter out low-frequency noises | ANC can’t filter out high-frequency noises as well |
Punchy sub-bass with good rumble | Poor resolution, everything sounds compressed |
Punchy sub-bass with good rumble | Needs a Samsung phone or tablet to get the most out of them |
